Ever seen the movies 'Good Time' with Robert Pattinson ? They do precisely that in the movie:

Memorable mask. Great movie.

Plenty of people been tracked to their home wifi and caught.
That's just plain stupidity on their end.

Literally speaking, a 10 year old would know better.

That was the movie that made me take him seriously as an actor

It was a recent article from this year that peaked my interest, it might have been related to this bust covered in this blog but can't remember now:

Threw in some old ones for good measure, highlighting different security concerns about TOR.

For sure human error or carelessness is probably one of the main reasons vendors get busted.
Would not put the founders of SR and AB into the same category as your regular drug dealer.
Especially Alpha02, he was a software engineer with a deep understanding of opsec (formally a carder as well).
Mistakes are possible but it seems a bit too convenient that two of the most succesful founders were caught by the same basic opsec mistake.
Alpha02 may have been technically competent in terms of the site security but was balling out of control in his real life.
He did make obvious mistakes such as owning several properties when he didn't have income in that country, had the fancy cars etc.
He apparently said the money laundering practices of desnake were overkill, so again taking the easy option.
So I could be more likely to believe that he could be careless based on his other tendencies.

In the new AB, desnake (if it is really him has proven opsec credentials) is also recommending users to move to I2P.
Of course it is possible to always make conspiracies. Such as I2P is LE controlled and as AB2 is a honeypot, they are trying to guide users to use a less secure anonymisation method.

If its the NSA and the FBI you are worried about then the jig was up a long time ago, if they want to get you they will get you and thats that. For the likes of us who do not have government agencies actively pursuing us then the OPSEC guide mothered provided will suffice.

Twilight sort of hurt his career in the fact that's usually what he's known for, but he's definitely capable of other roles.

Definitely. Not a superhero movie guy but loved him in The Batman. It was partially his performance in Good Time that pushed me to watch it, that and peer pressure xD

The three letter agencies can do a lot but people can also do a lot to hide their identity even if they were able to go through all of your layers of protection.

Can you recommend a vpn account seller? So funny when so many sellers talk about life time warranty. Maybe when you are 12 and you are selling cracked accounts and making some money, you can imagine doing that for the rest of your life.

No actually, the one i used to use is on the DN but the only way to contact him is through the markets there and they are SO fucking unreliable. They are constantly down due to DDOS and other issues. Do not recommend and I am open to suggestions myself.
