There was a time when ID verification for PP and other sites was done manually.
In most cases this is probably now done by AI.

When a service is for example US focused, how do they verify IDs from other countries?
I am sure that they have information about how IDs should look, in the most populated countries but I wonder how up to date they are some distant countries. I would doubt they would have access to a global database where they can check all of the worlds identities, due to privacy and lack of digitisation in certain countries.

Essentially is it possible to pass ID verifcation with fake details these days if the photoshop job is good?

I dont know how to answer your questions at all but Ive seen people on various forums offering document editing services and the like, those vendors or people hanging around these places will probably be able to help.

I'd like to know about Paypal too.
I used to be able to open a new account by pretending I was black and using a name like "Jamal Brown" but now within an hour I get an email saying I am banned forever from using Paypal no matter how much stealth or how black I am.

No worries. True I could ask for them if the docs pass verification with made up details or if they have to be real "fullz".
If you are using real details well that adds another charge to your rapsheet...

Are you using good opsec when you create new accounts?
They might have upgraded their security.

The same happened when opening an ebay account, verified real mobile number and bank account, it was shut down after an hour.
I wonder what was the issue. The address, name or bank account not matching with the registered name (this is something that was said for years to not be important for PP and ebay).
