Yes you heard it, using my manupilative skills i managed to get the guy to give me the reciept and serial number.

Using those details i filed for a support ticket and wrote this:

Hello I am writing to you regarding a laptop that I purchased from a reseller on Facebook. In the beginning the laptop was working perfectly fine with no issues what so ever, but out of nowhere I started smelling a nasty smell that was coming out of the laptop. I turned the laptop around only to find that the battery was leaking  and a lot of it was has gotten on my table, so I immediately shut it off and disposed the faulty product because as you know battery acid is really dangerous and it was posing a hazardous risk to my living environment. When I contacted the reseller he gave the serial number of the laptop and told me to contact you for further assistance. I really hope you guys can help me.

I also provided them with the reciept

My only concern would be is if you have the laptop in hand already ( which you don’t ) why did you need to message the “ seller “ for the SN? Which would be displayed on the box, laptop and settings

I told them that I got rid of it immediately, to make seem more urgent. Also I didn't write that I asked the seller for the SN but wrote that when I messaged the reseller he gave me the SN and told me to contact them.

5. If the answer to the question (4) is yes, did the power adapter connect directly to the power outlet or power extension socket?

7. What are the devices that were connected to the laptop during the incident? Such as mouse, keyboard, external monitor, power adapter, etc.

Yes I did, do you think this is a good sign? In my eyes it feels like I have gotten in their pockets and passed the suspicion phase. Also i have eczema on my arms and hands which sometimes look like burn marks, I took pictures of it and claimed that I was injured by the leakage. So if they really press for pictures of the damaged laptop I will just use the corrupted method. What do you think
