There’s really no hard and fast rule with any one technique which is what people new to SE’ing need to understand and probably what tires mothered out the most. Getting some advise from this forum is nice but don’t be afraid to try it your own way and have the confidence it will work.

At its core thats what Social Engineering is, talking reps into giving you a refund, not exploiting scripts that refunding services burn out faster and faster.

The reason mothered is so good if I had to guess, is because he was doing it all on his own before there were even any forums like these for a newbie to ask how to do it.

It arrived only yesterday because of Christmas delays, went into live chat yesterday and claimed empty box. Rep said they will contact me by email as soon as possible but its been over 24 hours with no email yet. Should I contact them again? @mothered @Endeavor

I don't know what their definition of "as soon as possible" Is, but It won't hurt to get In touch and ask where your claim stands.

I just checked my convos, same issue with me. They never really gave any updates - so I contacted them every other day over chat. They kept telling me they need more time to look into it, and that will go on until you randomly get an email for the refund

No I DNA'ed 1 from Best Buy and one from Walmart each.

The only thing you can do on your end, Is to repeatedly contact them asking where the claim stands.

This is what's happening to me right now, they are not updating me and live chat gives the same response. How long did it take for you to get the refund email?

Just got refunded after 6 days of no update. I think you have only to be patience and wait for a refund confirmation from them
