UberEats SE success stories 11-30-2022, 09:14 AM

EDIT: Claiming DNA on UberEats hurts the driver. Also claiming the restaurant got the order wrong hurts the restaurant, so only claim "wrong order" on large chains.
In the past week my friends and I have secured over $400 worth of free food by claiming our orders never came.
The driver still gets to keep the tip and the base fare, and as far as Uber is concerned, some thief really did take the order before the real customer came out to pick it up.
We haven't run into any problems so far, except one time, where the driver took a picture of me as I was waking away with my hood up.
Had to dispute it with a customer support rep, but after escalating and asking to speak to their supervisor, they gave a full refund.
Some other friends of mine have had to confirm a PIN with the driver to make sure that they are the legit recipients, however, the driver has the ability to override and deliver it without receiving the pin. The reason for this is if someone walks to pick it up without their phone or their phone died and they still need to get the food.
After looking on r/ubereats, I learned that the PIN is actually always the last 4 digits of the recipients phone number, BUT drivers don't typically know this either.
As it stands right now, I haven't been shown a PIN and I have no idea what triggers a given order to require a PIN on pickup. In fact, the others that were met with the PIN screens after placing their orders had never falsely claimed their orders never came. Completely clean accounts.
Does anyone have any insight on this or any stories of SE'ing Uber Eats?
