Please reply with the events when the package Is received.

I received delivery today and I’m frustrated to say the least. I told my sister I was expecting a package and to not sign for it as I needed to. I don’t think they understood and they ended up signing for the package before I could get to it. We don’t have the same last name but I don’t think it matters anymore. Any tips on how to move forward or should I chalk this one up?

Update: checked the proof of delivery and it says signed for by someone completely random that I don’t know. Not sure if this is a bad transcription or if the driver maybe already signed for it. I can’t see the image of the signature to know for sure.

^ It doesn't matter - the delivery was still signed by an authorized household member.

So you're going by the actual name, correct?

Sorry not sure I understand what you mean by actual name. The package was addressed to my actual name. And to rephrase, my sister signed her real signature maybe a bit sloppily. I wanted to check so I refreshed tracking which shows that it was signed for by someone that is nowhere close to anyone’s names (family or neighbors). If I didn’t know any better and came back to town, I would’ve thought that the driver signed for it. I can’t verify this without seeing the image though which is only accessible to the shipper’s account.

^ That's precisely what I'm referring to and wanted to establish.

Do you think this SE attempt is good to go then? I’ll be honest I’d usually wait a day but I’m eager to start the process. Would trying to contact them at night (Indian support time) via chat be a bad idea tonight in terms of harming this DNA? Appreciate you sharing your knowledge!

If you're absolutely certain of the Inconsistency with the signature, then It's good to go.

I understand your position, but waiting an extra day will have no Impact on you whatsoever.

To help ensure the SE runs smoothly, It's well worth the wait.

It won't harm your DNA.

I've had mixed experiences during those times.

Ended up reaching out through chat as it’s been a day to get the ball rolling.

I didn’t expect much and would wait 2 days but at this price amount, it seemed fine that I would be concerned about my shipment now.

Was told since it’s a high price order, they need to transfer me. Then was told to give the carrier another day to deliver and if I haven’t gotten it by then, to reach back out. I also noticed that the bot gave me an option to refund one of them but then told me to wait 48 hours to see as well.

Not sure if that’s a good or bad sign, but I’ll keep the thread updated with what happens.

Your claim would've updated to the 48 hour wait, which the bot then referenced the details, so It's fine.

I shall periodically check back for the latest developments.

I was able to get 1 of them refunded through the bot but it marked the whole order as returned. I reached out to a few agents via chat to rectify the refund and they immediately disconnected and said to file a dispute or talk to the carrier.

After the 3rd rep, I got one to not disconnect and stay on line with me and I complained about how there was supposed to be ID, how someone else apparently signed for it (I let them offer up the signature which I refute being me), and how it’s not my responsibility to call FedEx when I ordered from Walmart and didn’t get my shipment. Also said I didn’t want to file a dispute as I’m a good Walmart customer.

They maintain that if there is no signature then Walmart would deal with it but since there is, FedEx has to be contacted. They say it’s like this because I said that this happened in error (which I refuted).

After asking to get escalated they offered to have their team reach out to the carrier and respond within 24hrs. He also mentioned that I wasn’t supposed to get the first refund since there was a signature.

Sorry for the word jumble

Any ideas on what to expect going forward?
