Hey! I received my meta quest 2 yesterday, after some hours, i contacted them via live chat and told them that the box was empty and that it was a gift for this wednesday.
The only thing he asked me for was the order number and a picture of the empty box, then he transferred me to another department.

today ive received a reply from the other department with the following request

In this case, it is necessary that you please send us photos where you can clearly see the labels on the package and thus contrast the data with the database.

The problem is that in the box with the shipping data, it indicates the weight of the package (+2kg).

Should i just say that i have thrown away the box? or just tear off the label that indicates the weight?

Absolutely wait for the refund. Me and another user are experiencing delays in the refund despite was accepted, and I never activated anything yet. Just wait and wait for the money, but usually takes one or two days to process.
And as well if u paid with PayPal you should have their notification too by now

Ah just wait it is matter of time, worst case scenario you open the dispute and u win having the refund approval documents. You may not need to come to that way and you will just see the money tomorrow
