Meta quest 2 EB problem - larry_ - 06-21-2022
Hey! I received my meta quest 2 yesterday, after some hours, i contacted them via live chat and told them that the box was empty and that it was a gift for this wednesday.
The only thing he asked me for was the order number and a picture of the empty box, then he transferred me to another department.
today ive received a reply from the other department with the following request

In this case, it is necessary that you please send us photos where you can clearly see the labels on the package and thus contrast the data with the database.
The problem is that in the box with the shipping data, it indicates the weight of the package (+2kg).
Should i just say that i have thrown away the box? or just tear off the label that indicates the weight?

the weight is right above my address, so if i do that the address won't come up either and maybe thats what you want to see?

You can send the picture of the label with the weight no problem. It won't cause any problem, or at least did not so far. That is the weight declared by them when they bought the label

You can send the picture of the label with the weight no problem. It won't cause any problem, or at least did not so far. That is the weight declared by them when they bought the label
Are you sure about that? the weight contains decimals so it seems to me that the package has been weighed

If the Item was missing, the weight should be a lot less than Indicated.

I will just take a pic without showing the weight, if they ask for more i will just photoshop it
The thing is: if they go to the UPS website they can see that the weight would not be the same as the one indicated in the picture

On mine was written 2,5 kg. I am 99% sure that this is the way that worked for everyone, see the post created by the other user with over 24 pages of comments, read over them and it will be more clear. Be aware that when they will cross check the weights with the courier (never so far) every se will fail. The reason why this is a success, is because they actually don't cross check it. In my opinion try in this way, worst case scenario? Find an excuse and legit return it within the proper time-frame, and get your refund

I literally sent them the photo of the label saying 2kg and still got my refund in 2 days
That's the weight at the departure, anyone could've stolen it along the way, not your fault

It takes 60 seconds to Photoshop an Image. Any SE'er who's not willing to spend a minute to prepare their approach, should not be In the scene.
