Lenovo Advance Replacement #1
I received a replacement from Lenovo which included a return label to return the defective unit. It says if I don't return it, they will charge me. However, I don't think I have provided them my cc information that they could charge. They only have my name, address, and phone#

What are my options besides returning the old unit which I don't have?

Have you made any prior purchases with Lenovo?

Also, did you receive the replacement at your current address?

FTID-return. Do they still use UPS?

No, I do not have any account with them. Yes, I got it at my current address.

Yes, they still use UPS. I think it is too heavy for FTID.

I returned a 43” Lenovo ultra widescreen monitor in a padded envelope. I never provided them with the tracking. I just told them I returned in the store I bought it from. Somehow they just SEd themself. I’m certain the rep I talked on never  actually checked with store or their own repair center if I actually returned the monitor.

The weight in the tracking info is entered when Lenovo order the shipping with the courier and is based on what the the monitor should weight, and not based on the actual weight of what you send them. This is the case with UPS and what makes Ftid a good option when other couriers like FedEx actually do check the weight. I used Ftid3 just in case so that the envelope never actually made it to proper address in Germany.

Then they obviously don't have your card on record.

The problem Is, you're Identified by your current residential address.

For future reference, always use a drop with ARs.

Yes, I'm probably going to just ignore the return. What could they possibly do without my payment information? Send the bill to collection if I don't pay?

Send a debt collector to your home.

Need Advice!

I called them and told that I disposed of the defective prior to receiving the replacement. The support guy didn't help and told me to return the replacement I received.

Needing advice if I should FTID3 it? I have never done it before and I'm not sure of the odds of it being successful. OR should I just return the replacement?

Thank you.
