Return switch Amazon warehouse deals

I returned switched a vr, all i did was switch out base stations with older models with amazon warehouse deals. i get an email later saying "Our returns department advised us that they received an incorrect item". the entire value of item is $1,000 USD. What are my options? should I continue to say that those are the items I received which I already returned. If this does not work, will they send me back the "incorrect" items back to me? or they will keep it and i suffer a 1k loss?

If they've established It's not their product, they cannot keep something that's not rightfully theirs.

Given Amazon Warehouse Deals offers used/returned goods, this will certainly help justify your actions.

I bought a VR set so I can switch only the two base stations. I had the 1.0s so i Switched to the 2.0s. The weight is basically the same

Let me rephrase my question. What excuse did you use to return the Item?

I just did the normal "wrong item received" and in the description i typed in I received these instead of what I was suppose to receive. and went through with the return process

Thanks for the details.

As stated In my earlier post, Amazon Warehouse Deals stock and dispatch returned/used goods, so the wrong Item received justifies your claim- for the fact that you've (seemingly) purchased someone else's return.

Simply tell them that you're returning what they originally sent.
