Razer SE Help + Updates - Pumic - 09-06-2018
EDIT: I just got through a live chat with one of their support agents and was able to get him to submit an RMA request for me without using any PoP (the rep asked for one, but I was able to talk my way out of giving him a receipt). They're going to give me a prepaid shipping label, so I'm going to attempt boxing them.
EDIT PT. 2: I've boxed Razer and convinced them that my item must've been stolen in transit. They've sent me another keyboard which I have sold on Ebay for $100
I managed to get a couple serials for Razer's newest keyboard (Razer Huntsman Elite) and the information I've found is old. I've never SE'd Razer so I'm unsure of what to expect. I'd like to have everything I need for my SE ready before I contact support.
Do they verify Amazon & Newegg receipts?
If I tell them that I need to have a keyboard shipped to me first for x reason, are they going to require a picture of the keyboard with a cord cut?
Will they bill if I get them to cross-ship or ship first and they don't receive a keyboard?

Yes they are known to ask for a cut cord.
Not sure but they verify receipts.

Let's a few ways to get around this.
Hide the real cord and put a cut cord (that's similar In appearance) from some other appliance In It's place.

I recently believe they are reluctant to do the cutting cord anymore. They are also known to check which the serials are registered to and they record serial numbers that they have given out as replacements

My issue with this is the simply fact that I don't actually have the keyboard myself, just some serials for it. I'll have to photoshop the cut cord and remove the metadata.

If you have the GFX skill set, It can be done.
Otherwise, request for a member on this board to do It for you. I know a couple of users that are well and truly competent. Stripping the metadata Is extremely simple. No doubt you're aware of It.

The metadata I should be able to take care of without an issue. A couple Google searches should show me how. The actual photoshop on the other hand.. Well let's just say my only experience with photoshop was in a highschool class and we were only allowed to do isfollow step by step guides. No experimenting, no creativity.

I don't want to put them on the spot, so If you have a look at their work In the Graphic Design forum, there are two members on the first page who stand out from the rest.

Appreciate it, but apparently I didn't even need a photo of the keyboard. I talked my way out of providing a PoP and was never asked to show a cut cord. I've got a RMA request going now and I'm going to attempt boxing them.
