Amazon failed investigation - ChrisF94 - 06-09-2018
I tried using the box method on an item worth £270, I contacted amazon via live chat and they said they needed to investigate. They got back to me and said the package was the correct weight and it wasn't damaged upon delivery.
Would it be possible to still receive and refund and keep the item or should I just return it?
EDIT, Contacted them again and this happened.
"I understand that the item was missing from your order.
I am sorry to know this.
I see that this issue was forwarded to the higher concerned team.
So do you wish to have a refund or a replacement?

I understand your Issue has been solved, but on what grounds did they base that the package was received In It's original condition?

I understand It's weighed on consignment (hence the weight Is justified), but the "condition" of the package on receipt Is what I'm Interesting In how they solidify their claim.
This Is not directed at yourself, more so Amazon.

No returns just ask what I wanted, I changed it from a refund to a replacement. I'll be refunding the replacement later

Tried contacting them about the replacement order and they won't budge. They want a police report
