My Web Hosting - slbmeh - 09-02-2011 I have expanded my hosting business to be available to the public and not just clients who have purchased a website from me. Fancy Guy I have 4 separate packages currently. All hosting packages come with discounted domain registration. I also offer VPS, Semi-Dedicated, and Dedicated. I plan on releasing two packages targeted towards a web developer and a special discount package for members of Hack Community. RE: My Web Hosting - Xecutor - 09-02-2011 Wow, i might consider buying on your site. Seems professional. Any offshore servers btw? From the Terms of Use: Quote:Using Fancy Guy Services in connection with surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, chain letters, junk e-mail, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or other) is prohibited. What is not allowed according to Acceptable Use Policy; Quote:is defamatory, abusive or obscene, violates a person’s reputation/privacy, is reasonably deemed offensive by the web community, is anti-religious or anti-human rights, or contains any type of threatening or hate speech, encourages harassment or physical harm to any group or individual, or is otherwise malicious/fraudulent and may result in complaints/liabilities/or retaliation against Fancy Guy by offended viewers; Basically, the only thing not allowed, other than the obvious illegal activities/content, is adult material. This is a restriction set by my data centers based on restrictions set by their ISP. Everything else is pretty much a CYA set of legal jargon. I would ask that you attempt to refrain from promoting it and offering your forum as a place of discussion for education purposes only. That will keep it along the lines of grey area. As always, if you're not sure review your local laws as to whether or not your content would be legal. If it does cross the line, my hands are tied if authorities become involved. My intent is to be somewhat lenient when it comes to communications and education. My relationship with these data centers and my ISPs is relatively new. If it comes down to the fact that they are relatively discriminatory to content that I feel is acceptable I will switch providers. If you have any more questions as to whether or not your content is allowed, or you are unsure as to what exactly is legal. Just let me know, if I can't give you an answer I'll speak with my attorneys and we will come to a resolution. |
