How can I SE a BBQ? - nk2333 - 10-30-2023 I've read some earlier threads about wayfair but also read that they've tightened up lately, so i'm not really so sure if I can claim damaged goods. I'm planning on SE-ing a barbecue grill (to a US address) that's about 45 lbs and $200 or less. I assume DNA would be possible but harder to pull off. Any other suggestions? RE: How can I SE a BBQ? - nk2333 - 11-06-2023 any body have any ideas? was going to do wayfair but idk since they changed their policy RE: How can I SE a BBQ? - InternetRockStar - 11-06-2023 (11-06-2023, 07:38 PM)nk2333 Wrote: any body have any ideas? was going to do wayfair but idk since they changed their policyHow did wayfair change their policy? If you have to assemble it I heard of people photoshopping missing screw hoes into the item to claim that it was a manufacture defect RE: How can I SE a BBQ? - Blazealways - 11-06-2023 (11-06-2023, 08:04 PM)Juice WRLD Wrote:(11-06-2023, 07:38 PM)nk2333 Wrote: any body have any ideas? was going to do wayfair but idk since they changed their policyHow did wayfair change their policy? What did the change on their policy I recently SE’d Wayfair. Did the non-drilled holes trick. They only offered to keep it with a 25% discount, or send it back with a prepaid label. Told them I was a single older woman, no car to get the heavy box to the post office, etc. The most they offered was 50% refund to keep it, so I took it. What did the change on their policy I think he was relying on you being an SE'r I had a similar experience with another company where they were trying to get me to take a discount instead of a replacement I pressed the fuck out of them and long story shortly was able to give me a exception which I was told is very rare and I'm very lucky to get but best believe I hit them on my other addresses RE: How can I SE a BBQ? - Blazealways - 11-08-2023 (11-07-2023, 11:18 AM)Juice WRLD Wrote:(11-06-2023, 10:54 PM)Blazealways Wrote:(11-06-2023, 08:04 PM)Juice WRLD Wrote: How did wayfair change their policy? What did the change on their policy Maybe.. but I doubt it. We had 2 legit orders on the account. I did a fantastic job photoshopping all the holes to be fully covered, emailed all the photos to their customer service claim section. But my point was that they’ve changed their policy. Not whether or not they think I was SE’ing. RE: How can I SE a BBQ? - nk2333 - 11-09-2023 thank you all for the replies. |
