[Success] Samsung RMA - wdqdq - 08-31-2023
Went to the local electronic store and got some Serial numbers.
Claimed RMA at Samsung. Well it appears the content of my package got lost during transit.
Samsung sent me the money I paid for the phone to my bank account? Didn't even offer a replacement.

So, you didn't buy the item from them and they sent you a cheque or transfer of the retail price?
Yea, you got lucky. This is the one situation where merchants can claim they are not liable. Samsung don't even accept EB claims when u buy from them directly lol.

They contacted me, that it appears that the device got lost during transit.

1. Had some weight inside, but the samsung employee removed that and provided pictures of the empty box lol

Exactly. The first 6 months the merchant is liable, the 6 months after the manufacturer.
Samsung wrote me saying that the shipping company lost my device and whether Id like to start an investigation. I said yes, 2 days later I got another Email that the shipping company accepted liability.
