Yea, you got lucky. This is the one situation where merchants can claim they are not liable. Samsung don't even accept EB claims when u buy from them directly lol.

1. Had some weight inside, but the samsung employee removed that and provided pictures of the empty box lol

Exactly. The first 6 months the merchant is liable, the 6 months after the manufacturer.

Samsung wrote me saying that the shipping company lost my device and whether Id like to start an investigation. I said yes, 2 days later I got another Email that the shipping company accepted liability.
