Laptop SE Costco or BB? - JayJay91 - 02-14-2023

I am going to SE a laptop for $950. I have the option to use an aged BB account with a tv purchase on it or use a new Costco account. I feel like the obvious choice is BB but I heard they can be a pain to deal with. My plan is to either do DNA or SB as a backup if I can get the label off without any issues. Any advice wold be appreciated.

I can also say I had a terrible experience with Best Buy. I have an aged account with about $6,000+ worth of purchases spanning years. I recently tried a DNA on an $800 laptop with them. Originally, the agents were very nice and helpful. When I first contacted them they offered me a refund without me asking for it. They told me it would be processed and they would send me an email.

After several days I hadn’t received any email or contact from Best Buy, so I messaged them via their online chat. They assured me that my refund was approved in their online system and I just had to wait. Finally about three weeks passed and I received an email stating that they were unable to provide me with any refund or replacement.

although best buy sucks with DNA, they are amazing with SB I can vouch for that.

Thanks for the info. I want to try this but am concerned about rebills. Do you always buy in store and pay in cash? Have you encountered any issues afterwards? TIA

don't even bother with costco. they are insane to deal with

for sealed box do I just fill it up with something of the same weight and seal the box with some label?

Does SB work for return by mail as well as in store?
I've only ever done in store SB at BB and I can vouch as well, it's VERY easy.
