Any advice for Philips Hue? SN in hand - mollynation123 - 10-05-2022

So.. im trying to do a warranty claim. Ive just picked up the item from a store, and have the product and serial number in hand. + Original POP

circumstances is for me rn that i need to return it already tomorrow, otherwise i would have too much trouble with getting it back in store.

I think about writing down the serial number, get som pictures with the serial number and the item and hope i have what ever they request.

Have anybody doing Philips Hue lately that can tell me something im not prepared for?

I have many other alternatives locally, so I haven't had the need to target them.

In terms of your SE, you're well prepared with a valid serial number, photos (If requested) and the POP.

How do you plan to circumvent It?

I might have confused you for a second.

I bought item at (store 1) to get serial.
I will then try with SN from store 1 product to SE the manufacturer (store 2, Philips Hue)

I then had to refund item (store 1)
And they had to inspect item before refund which i have now received.

Now im back to $0 invested and a brand new SN for the product i want.

Monday i will try contact manufacturer with SN and hopefully i dont have to "send" anything back for a replacement of the product.

Went on live chat, and have to fill a warranty claim on their site.

Ive read about others with products from then, that you need to send back.

I have no idea how FTID works and i know you dont support it.

What should the move be? Disposed the faulty item? Made a sound and a smokey cloud when powered on?
