PEB Help - ryanchiddy - 06-01-2022 Ordered sd card and other low value items through Amazon. Contacted customer service and claimed PEB, they refused refund, initially stating that the weight of the item is consistent which obviously is a lie considering the weight of all the items combined was under 120g. Reconnected with more associates and eventually was asked to fill out a PR. Then called them and rep told me to wait a couple more days but not sure if this is correct since they sounded half dead. Any advice? RE: PEB Help - mothered - 06-01-2022 Quote:Ordered sd card and other low value items through AmazonWhat's the precise weight of the SD card? Quote:eventually was asked to fill out a PR. Await their reply. They just need a PR in order to pass whatever stage they are at in the "investigation", it's quite common for it to be a requirement. Don't be worried about it, the police do not care for things like this. But at the same time, you don't want lots of police reports filed under your name, you may want to save it for a larger SEs. Up to you and what you may plan to SE in future. It is more common for PRs to be asked on DNA claims as it is usually the result of theft, I don't hear much of them asked on EBs. Any suggestions? It's typical of Amazon's brain-dead reps to request a PR that's not relevant to your claim. The report Is only required for administration purposes, so It's fine to go ahead and file It. I went to try and file a police report however they refused to do so since I said that the package wasn't damaged and therefore this wasn't a crime and instead was an issue on Amazon's end. Called Amazon explaining what I was told and they said a whole lot of nothing in response. Any ideas for next steps? Their brain-dead reps struggle to spell their own name. Get a document from the police stating why they're refusing to provide the report, then forward It to Amazon. |
