PEB Help 06-01-2022, 01:19 AM
#1
Ordered sd card and other low value items through Amazon. Contacted customer service and claimed PEB, they refused refund, initially stating that the weight of the item is consistent which obviously is a lie considering the weight of all the items combined was under 120g. Reconnected with more associates and eventually was asked to fill out a PR. Then called them and rep told me to wait a couple more days but not sure if this is correct since they sounded half dead. Any advice?

What's the precise weight of the SD card?
4.5g

They're assessing the claim, which Is standard procedure.
Await their reply.

Please update us the moment you receive a response.
Got in contact with them recently and they told me the same thing, to file a PR. I have never done one before so am somewhat apprehensive and also don't understand how it is relevant to my claim considering I said that my package showed no signs of damage. Any suggestions?

It's typical of Amazon's brain-dead reps to request a PR that's not relevant to your claim.
The report Is only required for administration purposes, so It's fine to go ahead and file It.
I went to try and file a police report however they refused to do so since I said that the package wasn't damaged and therefore this wasn't a crime and instead was an issue on Amazon's end. Called Amazon explaining what I was told and they said a whole lot of nothing in response. Any ideas for next steps?
