Airpods OTP amazon - A1.lds - 04-08-2022

So a friend of mine ordered AirPods to SE using eb on her account. She payed using her details and everything but amazon have sent a OTP for the AirPods. Could this be because I ordered something to her house one time - a legit order but on the same account I placed the legit order I performed a DNA to my house?
If so would it be safe for her to go and perform the EB?
Her account is completely clean- an aged account with 3 orders and no refunds at all

No.

The need for an OTP, Is not relevant to account activity that may possibly be deemed suspicious. That's a separate matter altogether.

Too heavy for the EB/missing Item method.

The wrong Item received can be used Instead.

Airpod pros are too heavy to EB?
In total the charging case and AirPods weigh about 65 grams.

They’ve told her she needs a police report. Since she claimed eb, I’ve told her to contact Amazon again and see what they say

Yet again, Amazon fail to use common sense.

The EB/missing Item Is not a theft-related Incident, hence a PR Is not relevant to the claim.

Good move.

It can be argued with Amazon that the PR Is not relevant, but due to their lack of logic and Incapacity to use common sense, they'll keep Insisting on filing the report.

Update: Amazon requested the empty box back and sent a replacement. She cancelled the replacement and spoke to amazon saying does she still need to send the empty box back. They said no so the SE was successful.
