Amazon SE Help - 40hhre - 01-13-2021 Hey guys. So I have an Amazon account with 3 SEs on it previously. Last SE was in October and I've done 25+ legit orders since. Last SE was only for 60 because I was new and didnt know any better. Now I received three packages today and I want to refund the most expensive. It cost 470. EB is not an option as it weighs 7+ pounds so I am aiming to do DNA. The other two items cost 150 and 7. How likely is a pr? EDIT: Forgot to mention account is around 6-7 years old with Prime for 2-3. RE: Amazon SE Help - mothered - 01-13-2021 Quote:I want to refund the most expensive. It cost 470. Quote: How likely is a pr?It depends whether the package Is lost In transit, or If you're claiming It was stolen from your premises. If It's the latter, a PR Is certainly warranted. RE: Amazon SE Help - mothered - 01-13-2021 Quote:All three were left on my doorstep. No signature nor OTP.Perfect DNA material so far. Quote:Pictures were taken of both and both pictures show all three packages including the biggest package (the one I want to refund) being on my doorstep. Are there any Identifiable details In the photos that can conclusively deem It's your house? Quote:I would probably just say that I came home from work and only two out of three packages were on my doorstep. Checked with neighbors, family and do not know what happened to it etc.Don't provide any more Information than what you have to- simply say you did not receive the package(s). On the above grounds, theft will be assumed as the cause for non-receipt of goods, hence a PR Is more than likely to take place. Quote:I heard that if I connect at 10AM indian time I would receive an Indian rep who would be more lenient? Is this true?It depends on the caliber of the rep. I've come across a handful that were extremely easy to SE and on the other hand, just as many who were adamant and did not budge. Here's what's most likely to take place. In their defense, they'll try and verify the delivery based on your home being conclusively Identified In the photos, however It's not the case at all. The vulnerability Is that the packages were left at your doorstep, hence you did not personally receive/accept them. As such, a passerby stole the one you're planning to SE. Quote:So should I just say I did not receive the package and not even mention the other two?Correct. You're not supposed to know If and when they arrived (on the same consignment or otherwise), so just mention the one package. If it comes to a pr, then ill just file one online. Its not a huge deal, I would rather not get them involved or have police come to my house but oh well. You have been very informative. Thank you for your help. I'll update the thread after I talk to them in a couple days. Simply say that you haven't received your package. If they respond with the photos as mentioned above, then they'll most likely tell you that It was left at your doorstep. You'd then say that you've checked but your package was not there. This Indicates a crime-related Incident, namely your package was stolen. Quote:If it comes to a pr, then ill just file one online. You can certainly do that. Do remember that a PR Is part of company protocol to move forward with your claim. There's no need to elaborate when there's no reason to do so. All the best with the SE. |
