What method for Amazon? - edmondriley - 06-14-2020 Hello people, I am looking to SE an Apple Watch 5, but I am not sure how to go about this. Usually Amazon.de sends orders with DHL to me, which I have to show my ID to pick up, and thus I will not be able to use the DNA method. My estimations are that the package weighs around 2-3 pounds, so I doubt that Empty box or Missing item will work. What do you think? I am not sure what other methods I could use, any ideas would be great!

If they're asking for ID, then maybe not. Do you pick up the package, or have it sent to your address? If it's picked up, DNA is much less likely to work. If you can't DNA, boxing/FTID will work. Very hit-or-miss, but I used to tell companies that an electronic would leak battery acid, and I had to dispose of it for the safety of my family. Then ask for replacement/refund. What's the weight of the Item? I think the items itself is around 2 pounds. I will be going with a different method. Then, ultimately the tracking will show it was delivered but they won't have any records of it. If you are completely unaware of the method, either do a lot of research or go for a service that will do it for you. You can just say that you were on vacation/ business trip and have returned from there. Note that FTID is less likely to succeed if the package crosses international borders. I was just confused about the fact that Amazon will be like "yeah send it back from a different country, that seems legit". I will def be using a FTID service, I am just a bit unsure how to execute it. Is it correct that if it all goes well, I won't even have to say anything to a rep? So like if the package is received and gets lost, they will just refund me auto right? No, you will have to talk to the rep and show them the tracking number. If it goes well, they shouldn't have any record of your package arriving. If you use a FTID service, the refund is on you, not on the guy. You will have to manage the situation and yes, speak to a rep because they will need to manually refund you, investigate the package etc. If you use a refund service the guy does everything but he will not tell you what method he will use. |
