Zalando SE Photo ID and Legal Statement - Dec.vs - 10-21-2019 Hello guys i have just started to SE zalando. I gave them a call and told them i had part of my parcel missing. They emailed me this. " Hi Dec, Thanks for getting in touch. I’m sorry that you haven’t received your full order. So I can get this sorted for you as soon as possible, all I need you to do is complete the attached legally binding statement and send this to me alongside a copy of your valid photo ID. Make sure to sign and fill out all of the necessary details in the legal statement including the item/article numbers. Then just reply to this email with the legal statement and a copy of your photo ID attached within 7 days. The best way to do this is to scan or take a photo of the legal statement and photo ID then reply to this email with both of the documents attached in PDF or JPEG format. Please note that the information provided will be used to further investigate this with our warehouse. If needed, your statement and ID could serve as the basis for a police report. Thanks for your help in getting this looked into. If you need any help with this at all then please let me know. Enjoy the rest of your day." and also attached this document. https://gyazo.com/10da6fcb18a70f1c2827df5f7303ffa1 I was wondering if there is any way of getting out of sending the document back? What should i do next? RE: Zalando SE Photo ID and Legal Statement - mothered - 10-21-2019 I strong advise against signing a legally binding document. What was your conversation prior to receiving the email? RE: Zalando SE Photo ID and Legal Statement - titchyyyy - 10-22-2019 Zalando are piss easy. Signed a few of these, they aren't worth the paper they're written on and mean nothing legally. Just do it. However, the item i am trying to get for free is a large knee length coat, it must weigh near 1kg easily. Do you think this will be a problem? Quote:then reply to this emailOn the above grounds, they've requested the response via email, so simply tell them that you've sent It. Of course, you'll do nothing of the sort. Obviously "call them" and ask why your claim Is taking so long. No doubt they'll ask you to send It again, and you'll repeated the above process. The objective Is to seemingly comply until they either give In, or request another form of declaration (that's not legally binding) to finalize your claim. |
