Razer... - titchyyyy - 02-15-2019 Has anybody tried these? I RMA'd my legit mouse yesterday and I've just had confirmation that I will receive a brand new one and delivery/tracking will be sent to me when available. The thing is, all I needed was a POP receipt and the serial number, which can be found in a lot of places. I've not really seen anybody speak about this company before. As my mouse is out of warranty, it looks like they've seen the POP receipt and based the warranty on that. Using the search function on forums is hard! But yeah, I've read into them. They've not asked for me to cut a cord or return the item to them. Weird. Did they only request a POP & serial and Issued the replacement thereafter? From their reply, it sounded like they were processing the replacement without the cutting of a cord but now I've received the email telling me to cut the cord. Although this is a legit mouse and RMA, it wasn't all 'legit'. I edited a receipt from Amazon to give my self some warranty. I actually purchased this mouse directly from Razer more than 2 years ago so the warranty is very much over. It doesn't seem like they track the serials otherwise they'd realise it was purchased directly from Razer and not Amazon that I'd given them a fake receipt for. This pretty much makes me believe that you can extend most warranties with a fake receipt. I will be cutting the cord but I'll be keeping hold of the mouse, so that I can SE more of these mouses in the future to different addresses. It'll be incredible easy to double dip these mouses from Amazon and photoshop serials from brand new mouses onto the 'cut cord mouse' in order to get an RMA replacement from Razer. Based on the following, tell them that you do not have the Item. They've confirmed you'll be receiving a new one, hence there's no purpose keeping the old.
