I would also like to know this. I plan on taking a long vacation, and would like some new luggage.

Starting SE this morning. Left outside door in an apartment building, only pic of it at the doorstep.

Will let you know mine  goes - one thought with yours is whether they'll leave parcels as large as luggage outside unattended?

You can contact them the same night it arrived asking where your order is. They may send you the delivery picture but say you don't recognize it and they should ref you.

I recieved a call, they said they started a carrier investigation and I need to file a police complaint, should I?

Ask them why you need a police report. The delivery company not successfully delivering your package is not a police matter and the police might not even give you a case number. If they are adamant on the report, you can do one.
