Because now they also added a new choice that says "date you received the phone".

Before it just asked the date you made the purchase.

i found that you can put any number combo into it and theyll accept it so i dont think it matters really

Do you have an example IMEI? Not sure how many numbers would go after that string to generate one. Tried 5 with the others but couldn't manage one haha
