Sounds similar to what I tried to do with amazon lockers here
I had 45 orders on there. I just contacted amazon and told them my wife has them, etc. They said its fine. I will just return them in a month or so with a fake

Just so you know be prepared to have your account closed, if you continue with this refund. Your account has been flagged for multiple refunds and is now under close watch. Any refunds from this point could trigger account closure.
My advice, sell the AirPods elsewhere and cut your losses. Build your account status back up by making several legit orders then start a healthy SE cycle again.
