But if I feel slow and unresponsive, I can just think "Right, just do it". And fling myself from my bed and almost force myself into a good mood. Probably not hitting REM stage sleep then, which I imagine can be something you can talk to your doctor about. They did a sleep study on me a while back when I was in high school where they basically did the brain activity mapping type deal with electrodes on the head. Fell asleep in school too often, was generally asleep for a greater part of the day. Had some issue that prevented me from dreaming, and getting quality sleep regardless of how I slept or for how long it was. While I'm not saying that you may have the same, you may have something similar. I hadn't dreamt for around 4 months, until I started talking to a friend about it. That night I had the longest dream ever... Not sure if that means anything. And it goes so quick. BUT, when I do dream it's multiple story-lines, all completely fucked up and weird, but so realistic. My brain processes stuff a lot faster than can be performed in real life, EG I know this whole paragraph before typing it, so dreams must be hyper-speed when being 'displayed' to me.Here, take some cheese. Spoiler:No, I'm not serious. RE: How often do you dream? - Oni - 12-11-2013 (12-11-2013, 10:52 AM)Kirika Yūmura Wrote: Most people do dream every night; they just can't remember it. This is true. I rarely remember my dreams either. RE: How often do you dream? - cr33pyguy - 12-11-2013 When I sleep, usually. Nah, I don't remember... ones I remember, maybe a three-four times a month?? RE: How often do you dream? - ねこまっしぐら - 12-12-2013 I dream about twice a week. I have never experienced a lucid dream though. RE: How often do you dream? - Nyx - 12-12-2013 I don't lucid dream, but I do usually realize I am in a dream, I just can't control it. I remember I had a dream last night where I was in Fairy Tail, and I realized it was a dream, I just couldn't control what I was doing. Also, 4/7 days of the week I dream, and when I do dream, I remember 1 of the dreams I had, out of the hundreds you have a night. When I wanted to experience one myself, I followed a step suggested by a friend from another forum, which is as follows: Quote:Try marking an "A" (which stands for "awake") on your palm. Every time you notice the "A" during your waking hours challenge whether you are awake or asleep. Eventually you may see the "A" in your sleep and become lucid.Their step was a bit different, but this is basically the same one. Rather than A, using a symbol.
