It was 1200$ phone & a virtual card was purchased from an exchange house overseas, it was like a prepaid travel card & I topped it up via their cash machine. It can only be bought in person by presenting any valid ID. I think the sealed box method only works for cheaper items, Amazon has started checking high value and popular items like Macbooks, iPhones, iPads, etc, I can't be sure, but so many people were successful in different SE, I wanted to give it a shot & get into SE game. With so many threads regarding Amazon returns, they are bound to bump up security

As of late, Apple has done the same with tech-based Items.

It's only a matter of time before the majority of companies Implement the same measures.

They already have to some degree.

Can confirm Amazon is pretty much dead for the usual methods as of today. Sealed box hasn't worked for me for the past 3-4 times. EB and DNA have been very hard for a while too. It might still work, but they've definitely caught up. Way better to deal directly with the manufacturers instead.

Personally, I haven't experienced Issues with both the EB/missing Item method, and a non-OTP DNA delivery.

The wrong Item received tends to be problematic at times.

Good to know, thanks! Sealed box seems patched though, hasn't worked even with clean accounts since late last year. Can you confirm? Or maybe my job was subpar, but I never had any trouble before.

Gotcha! Well in that case you're good to push your luck since nothing's linked to you. I think for here to pick up Amazon stuff you have to show ID. I've never tried so I may be wrong.

DNA should still work. Are you sure your account(s) isn't flagged?

Oh my main account is definitely flagged (too lazy to create a clean one), but from my experience DNA has become more difficult even with non-flagged accounts. Lots of back and forth that didn't happen in the past.
I know exactly what you mean. My accounts were closed recently lol and I haven't bothered making a new one. Apparently people buy accounts to use instead of making fresh ones. I can imagine that's a little better but I did a DNA for someone and it went smooth no issues at all.

Haha yup! Still sucks to get your accounts closed, sorry to hear about that. Amazon is low hanging fruit in any case, too easy... but still convenient for legit purchases!

As of late, I've performed a couple of sealed box methods without Issues.

You are correct about companies becoming aware of returns. It's just a matter of time before It gets fully patched.
