I hope the 4th gen iPad is new and not one you have used with your personal credentials (Apple account) before. While a serious investigation is probably not that likely, minimising risk is paramount and it would be easy to link the iPad to you and hence they would possess hard evidence of your fraudulent behaviour.

Nope , not at all. They said they’ve lost the shipping item unexpectedly in the warehouse so asked me to send a tracking number .

I did wipe the iPad before I sent it them, also I highly doubt they’ll think anything high of it. After all it is currys. I imagine they’ll just throw it out .

I prefer to call It "prepare for every obstacle". Unless the rep Is asleep on the job and simply approves the claim, there's always an element of complexity with every SE.

I’ve basically created a dispute with eBay, on the phone they told me that because it shows as delivered back I will have my refund within 3-5 business days .

This Is why I mentioned that their response Is a load of nonsense.

I've read your previous posts, and they state that a refund Is pending, thus they cannot conclude otherwise.
