Ebay Currys Sealed Box Method 08-22-2020, 07:39 PM

Just purchased a £1000 iPad Pro , and I’m looking to do the sealed box method . I’m placing an iPad 4th generation inside (weighs 5 grams more). Just need opinions on whether it will work, or should I go with not as described and claim that I got a different iPad inside ?

May I ask how you plan to seal it again? Will you carefully remove the original iPad sealing and then just pack it with that again? I've watched some unboxing videos and it looks quite hard to me to pull that off with the new Apple sealing.
The 5g weight difference won't be noticeable.
How about just straight up boxing them?

The sealed box method can be used with just about any Item & company- within reasonable size and weight.
The key Is to obviously not show any signs of tampering/Inconsistencies. As such, they'll place It back In their Inventory without checking Its contents, and Issue a refund/replacement thereafter.

5 grams would not matter in this. If you can seal the box the same way as Apple did then you should not have any issues.
