* AutoZone - $250, DNA
* Nordstrom - $750, DNA

In the research/decision making process for the following shops, will update here after completing:
*ssense
*luisaviaroma
*Baltini - they offer $50 "stolen package" insurance, and their prices would allow for a higher quantity per order of "luxury brands" items, so almost certainly will give them a try this week
*Balmain

May place another Bloomingdale's this week, as well, I've had fantastic luck in the $1,000-1,8000 range with them previously.
How’s your experience with autozone? Easy?

I hadn't seen any vouches for them after looking around, but their TOS don't mention anything about not being liable for lost/stolen packages, so I took a chance on it, as I had to unexpectedly replace my starter this week regardless of the outcome of the refund.

I used their email form on their "contact us" page late evening on the day it was delivered, and I heard back the next day.
Annoyingly/unfortunately, they opened up a FedEx claim "on my behalf" - where they pretended to be me opening a claim, said nothing about being the company opening it, and wrote up a whole claim description as though they were me, which was really unnecessary and weird.
I received an automated email about it from FedEx, and a voicemail from the "FedEx problem resolutions department" saying they "confirmed with the driver where it was delivered/if you don't find it there you can give us a call/etc."
In the email from AutoZone, they let me know they opened a claim, and asked if I wanted a refund or replacement "if it cannot be located by you/neighbors/FedEx" - I wrote back and indicated I wanted a refund, and they got back to me 1 day later and said my refund was processed.
No one from FedEx came to my house, though I think they may have tried to call again once or twice - but didn't leave a voicemail.

Overall it was very quick and easy - especially given that FedEx took a photo of the delivery and "checked with the driver" and such, which sometimes causes businesses to push back a bit since there's "proof of delivery" - but the FedEx "investigation" was definitely unwanted and an added annoyance. I get the feeling I could've probably gone higher with no issues, but YMMV.
Thanks for sharing! That was a lot detailed than I expected!

Success
Costco - $450 Desk - Damaged - Replacement then Refund via empty envelope
Bloomingdales -$250  - Refund via empty envelope about a month later
American Eagle - $200 -DNA
Sephora - $250 - Reship via broken cologne and then Return Credit 2X(so far) via empty envelope.
Dick's - $150 - Double ship when I complained about slow ship time.  Working on DNA and empty envelope Refund.
Wayfair -  $700 Dyson vacuum x4 - Damaged w/ pics(twice ) and Serial # replacement via Dyson with empty envelope.
Wayfair - $450 -Bed Frame - Damaged with photos - working on double dip/refund
Wayfair - $900 - 16 Boxes of Wood Flooring - Damaged with photos. - working on double dip/refund
Etsy - $150 - Refund - Told seller it was cracked and they begged me not to leave a bad review
B&H Photo - $150 -DNA
Adidas - $150-$200 x3 - Refund on scan first time and then endless credits about 2 weeks after returning empty envelope.
Walmart+ App -$150 x3 - Grocery Delivery -  checked every item damaged/missing/expired
Instacart - $100 x2 - Damaged from BBB and BJ's

Fails(sort of)
BestBuy - $1250 - Laptop - DNA(lied and told me they were reshipping then delayed and canceled reship) - returned on last day for refund.
NorthFace - $200 - DNA - Chargeback 4 Win
Nordstrom -  $450 - DNA - Chargeback 4 Win
Macy's -$250 - DNA - Chargeback 4 Win

Think that's it.

Was B&H On a fresh account? Do you think I can do a drone worth $400-600?

Yes B&H was a fresh account. I did a $300 order there once before and had no issue so a $500 drone would probably work.  You have a 30 day return window to do battle with them if it comes to that so go for it.
Is B&H liable for lost/missing/stolen shipments?

I appreciate your input, this is super useful. Did Nords or Walmart ask for a PR over $499? I tried Walmart last week and they wanted me to file a PR since it was a $525 item after tax. Still working on Nordstrom atm, but they're remaining adamant with a photo being proof enough.

Anytime, I'm glad you found it helpful!

No, I have never been asked for a police report from Nordstrom or Walmart at any dollar value, thus far.

With Nordstrom, it would seem that I have gotten extremely "lucky" with my refunds - I have never received any real pushback, and have succeeded even when DNAing multiple packages delivered on separate days from separate carriers.
From what I gather, this is not the norm by any means, and a lot of people find them quite difficult.

What carrier did Nordstrom use? The only time I received any trouble from them was when OnTrac delivered the package and took a photo.
Be diligent - continue to write in, demand escalations, continue to insist the photo was not of your location/is not valid proof the package was delivered to you, etc. Nordstrom has a great return policy, so you're in no rush, you've got time to file a BBB complaint - doesn't work often, but has worked for me on occasion, and turned a refund around, so never hurts - start bugging them on social media, etc. Make your presence known.
Best of luck with that one!

Walmart has never requested a PR from me. I did have to push quite a bit for higher dollar shipping orders, whereas pickup has been a breeze.
If you are considering the PR, make sure and confirm that they will be processing a refund upon receiving that PR, not that they're saying that to push you off and leave the ball in your court to pursue the problem elsewhere.

Anytime! Definitely wanted to give some detail since I haven't seen any info posted anywhere about them prior, so I'm sure there's people wondering, and especially so because of the "investigation" - I would've preferred to have known that was coming before ordering, probably would've gone for a higher dollar amount to make it more worth it, or changed my angle a bit.
If you attempt them and are successful, let me know! I'd love to hear what your experience is - I'm sure I'll need car parts again in the future, heh

I prefer to not to opt to ftid & lit method. Simply because other methods here has higher success rate for me & mostly ended up in my favor so far..
which other methods?

Hard to give one size suits all method, but wrong item, damaged/faulty item, dna & some modifications as per need in each case...sort of methods i choose. Haha
Convincing the rep is hardest part the way i see it. Go through mothered's blog & play around with a few to see what's easy & works best in each se against each target in your locality.
