There must be a tear on the package (and sealed with different colored tape), to give the Impression as though It was tampered with and the Item stolen during transit.
You may want to put some dry ice in there aswell so a weight registers. This will make it seem more likely that you parcel was tampered with.

i am not entirely sure. Last time i was in an investigation, they fixed the stuff internally, and i only had to supply my information. So i am not sure. But you can always just try, and if any problems occur, you can message me, or someone else on the forum. We will always try our best to help you out

You're only SEing an AirPod or Apple Watch, both of which are low value Items.
As said, an Investigation Is part of company protocol, nothing more.
