If It was a legit refund that obviously did not trigger suspicion In any way, shape, or form, the account will be credited with minimal to no disruptions. Treat your SE In the same fashion, and the same will apply.
@mothered i read and heard of similar issues where the rep had an issue requesting a refund. The plan of action went to plan but the rep had trouble of requesting a refund.
Been thinking about the problem at hand. The first line reps and maybe second line reps have the power to request. I always hear them saying “request a refund.” Not so much issue it. I am thinking another dept looks at it and releases it? Food for thought.
Maybe this year they started to put a metric that hits a certain threshold a higher up department needs to be involved to release it.

the refund service guy isnt really responsive, should i just go ahead with the issue myself?

im gonna respond to the amazon specialists and tell them they closed my account on false grounds as you have stated before. This specific account has only been used to SE twice, first one failed and now im not getting my refund so hopefully do smth abt it. Btw what do i say if i want to return the item and get my money back since they think i dont have the item?

No chance to return it I wouldn't think, first bet is tell them it's incorrect etc and hope they reinstate your account, but next is just go to your bank and chargeback

1- keep pushing/calling customer service spam e-mails to hard mention your approved refund based on their investigation .
2- if return slot is closed call your carrier and tell them that one of their delivery drivers gave your missing item after he felt regret stealing it from your package so you want to make a special report also the immediat escalation of the problem as you wont let this action pass duo to the huge problems it caused with amazon " make sure the report is made with a case number after that is done call out your amazon customer service and give them the update and since you've received the stolen item in a damaged condition you want to return it as you have it in your position now , if they unlock the return slot the rest is basically is in your hand so decide what to do . remember this might cost someone's job ! so its all in your hands
3- just charge back the amount you paid .

How do i charge back? i used my debit card, btw im under 18 so my parents can see any disputes i open. I could try spam email them, can u tell me like a good idea of what to say?
