Select the gateway you're comfortable and most Importantly, confident with.

A lot more can be said and done via phone conversations, but you'd need to reply accordingly - what you say cannot be taken back.

I spoke with a representative in live chat. They asked me If I live in a house or an apartment and that was it. He said he is going to start an investigation with the courier and this could take a maximum of 7 days. Hoping for the best lol

Under the circumstances, an Investigation Is standard procedure.

If you don't hear from them within the 7 day period, get In touch and ask where your claim stands.

Received an email stating I must fill out a form with my address and signature etc basically stating I have not received the item. I have to add the tracking number etc. Its a “Legal Statement” apparently but I think its just a scare tactic. Should I fill this in ? @mothered [Image: 70-CAD765-9-BF2-4-DC1-9869-F572-FE5-F9342.png]

I don't understand that language, hence I can't advise.

Just a quick update. I filled in the form and sent it back. It was a “legal declaration” but had no mention of any police or court matters so whatever lol. Signed it off and sent it back to Zalando. They now have told me an investigation is underway with the Courier (postNL) and I will hear from then within 5 days. I hope the driver doesn’t turn up at my house lol

A legal declaration Includes court matters.

You're under no obligation to answer the driver's questions and concerns.

The company Is handling your claim, and that's who you deal with.

I’ve heard Zalando use CCTV and most of the time the empty box method is useless (from what I gather). I would be willing to attempt a DNA although I’m uncertain whether they would require a signature due to the value of the order. I’ve been suggested to stick to a partial, however the main items I want are quite heavy (Uggs, obviously)

Where do I go from here? I haven’t ordered them yet and I’m not totally new to SE but I haven’t hit Zalando before and I know they are becoming extra vigilant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated Biggrin

bun uggs
What?

Not much to add right now.

I sent off the form and I will wait until Wednesday as this will have been a week since the investigation started. I asked today on Live Chat how the investigation was going and the employee was very rude and dealt with me as fast as possible telling me to just wait it out. Will let you know if I get a response tomorrow and If not I will contact them again
