Planning a Zalando SE, what should I do? #1
I’m planning on ordering a pair of UGG boots falling just under €200.

I’ve heard Zalando use CCTV and most of the time the empty box method is useless (from what I gather). I would be willing to attempt a DNA although I’m uncertain whether they would require a signature due to the value of the order. I’ve been suggested to stick to a partial, however the main items I want are quite heavy (Uggs, obviously)

Where do I go from here? I haven’t ordered them yet and I’m not totally new to SE but I haven’t hit Zalando before and I know they are becoming extra vigilant.

Any help would be greatly appreciated Biggrin

EB is obviously out of the question because it's a pair of boots, not earrings. In cases like not knowing whether something requires a signature, you can place the order and the confirmation email will tell you whether it requires a signature. Even if it did require a signature, fake sign it and still claim DNA.

So you think me just ordering the one item I want and claiming DNA is the best way to go? Even with signature?

Yes. Fake sign it if it requires a signature.

I would order to a pack station (if possible) and I would say that the package I took was very light and had opening marks on the bottom. Like last time I ordered and checked their package can be easily opened from the bottom if it is from brown paper made. So you can say that someone opened at transit and took your shoes, etc.
I don't believe in what I say. Everything is just fictional and made for a good laugh.

It's a useless form of delivery verification.

Fake It with a name that's somewhat legible. As such, when It's cross-checked, It will not be associated to yours, hence "you" didn't sign the delivery.

Update. I’ve now ordered the item. I can’t find any mention of signature being required upon delivery in my email confirmation. So looks good for now

Pickup stations require information from you that only the person ordering the item would have.

And what, I'm talking about Empty Box method. I don't know from what zalando you are ordering but the one in my country zalando doesn't care about weight or etc. It has many negative review from normal people not getting their packages or getting an empty box with nothing inside. Also my country zalando doesn't have a warehouse in my country, so it's comes from Poland, so it's kind of slow process of getting the package. So I just called them and said that the package was ruined, had opening marks and etc. Got a refund.
