I put my point now it depend on you and the team , do or not doesn't matter to me at all. many thing are missing like hide to reply that is also not implemented... what to say ... now...sinister is lacking behind alot that i notice , nothing more to say... topic end here.

Well, you've brought the topic up, and discussed it at length with us, so of course it does matter to you. And that is perfectly ok. It matters to us too.

What do you mean by lacking behind? Please PM me with your response to this. I ask for a PM, as I think you're right - For now we've said what needs to be said on this particular thread topic, but I would like to know why you feel we are lacking behind, and in what way. It's not that we can't add a "hide until reply" feature, it's that we've determined it might not be in the interest of the site. Generally forums with that feature are plagued with "thank you for this thread"-type posts. Let there be no confusion, we don't want to be like those forums.

Our staff team handles reports 24/7 and there is almost always someone on. If your issue is shortlinks, you're capable of reporting the threads. This doesn't mean we'll never use a plugin to filter shortlinks, but it isn't currently on the agenda.
