I wonder if you could bot something like that through OCR. A video is basically a ton of images so if you could apply OCR on every of that image and make it recognize PID's etc...

It's basically warranty fraud. You tell the manufacturer something's wrong with the product, and if you make it sound believable, they will either send you a replacement or give you a voucher for the value of the product.

OCR against direct Images, yes.

Given a video Is an entirely different format, I don't see OCR's accuracy being the same as Images. It may well be possible, but the accuracy Is questionable.

I don't mean directly running OCR through the video. I mean more like first splitting the video into seperate images and than process the images on a mass scale while removing the pictures without a result. I will eloborate later on.

I see, I thought you were referring to Image recognition directly through the video per se via OCR.

No need to elaborate, you've done so already.

Like at the bottom of the video list there should be numbers. Click number four.
I must be retarded. I don't do social engineering, but just trying to understand the process. Are you not talking about looking at unboxing videos on youtube? Or am I way off?

Yes I am talking about the unboxing videos. They will show you the Serial Number of the item sometimes.

Okay that's where I got lost. Because I'm thinking of YT unboxing videos and then you said go past page 3 and I've never heard that in reference to videos.
