this is extremely simple and easy. For those of you needing PIDs look up an unboxing of the item and go past page three and then take high quality screencaps of the product.

To add to this post, I have also had success getting S/N's with these methods:

- Go to any store that sells the item, and take take a picture of the S/N on the packaging.

- Go on sites like eBay and look through the product listings for the item you want. Chances are someone has uploaded a picture of the S/N. You might not want to use anything from the top results, though, as the chances are pretty high someone else has already used them. I have also had success getting S/N's from people in local buy and sell Facebook groups.

The issue with getting S/N from packaging is that some companies have a different number on package and the device (take Logitech for example) however this isn't too common. In terms of the second, checking social media is one of the best ways to find a serial.

There are so many methods, and some good points made above.

Alternatively, you can simply SE a given seller (assuming the role of a genuine buyer) and ask for the number for the purpose of confirming that the Item Is not stolen.

Call me an idiot but what does go past page 3 actually mean?

Like at the bottom of the video list there should be numbers. Click number four.

I must be retarded. I don't do social engineering, but just trying to understand the process. Are you not talking about looking at unboxing videos on youtube? Or am I way off?

I must be the biggest retard here because I don't get the actual benefit of doing this. Can someone elaborate?
