I work and get paid by the hour (Irrespective whether the job gets done) on an ongoing basis.
It's a secure job with set days, and best of all It's brain-dead. Upon returning home, I have full mental capacity to focus on my computational tasks.

Well I think the fact that most people on these "meet Skype sites" like the ones I used were horny poor shits who are so lonely that they go on a "meet people from Skype" site.
Not sure how to get good "clients"

In a certain light that seems nice, but I hate the idea of menial, repetitive tasks. I'd much rather be dead tired coming home from work knowing I made a lot of progress.

I see your point and understand your position.
I'm very habitual- I can perform the same tasks repeatedly, whereby "monotony" Isn't part of the equation. If It were my own business, I'd put In the extra effort and come home with a sense of satisfaction. However working hard (and getting the same hourly rate) for someone else, particularly when It's unappreciated, Is not what I'm about. I (myself) Inclusive of my heath comes first, not the employer.
At the end of the day, we're all a number with an employee code.

Sometimes drug dealing (make anywhere from $60 to $140 a day), working under the table for my friend's construction company, and many homeless tricks to get money (I'm not homeless though I just hate the fact that there's nothing but dead end jobs here)

Same here, I've tried over and over again but all I got was Indians paying me with Western Union what I do not have.
