Everything, and I mean everything, can be hacked. Whether It's via technical/hardware gateways or human manipulation via social engineering (or a combination of both), there's ALWAYS a way In.

MD5

Before you say anything about rainbow tables etc, that's not them being undone, it's a brute force attack not the algorithm being cracked and reversed so it's like "if it can be done, we'll just smash it open".

But I get your point, simplicity is the best option but unfortunately as devices get more and more complex it will be ever unlikely they stay simple.

I wouldn't buy a phone without a headphone jack though, I don't really need the waterproof part either.

*rolls eyes at phone title*
All those adjectives are untrue. (basically) Here's why:
  • Unhackable -- No, just no...
  • Unbreakable -- Cruise missile anyone?
  • Waterproof -- Cruise missile and pond at the same time. xD

I see your point, and rightly so.

What I was referring to, was "undoing It", meaning It's password security via other means (as I've mentioned above), such as human manipulation by social engineering the password.

They only call it unhackable because it's a marketing technique that makes computer-illiterate people (the majority of the population) feel inclined to buy it. Of course they know it isn't unhackable.

Undo a hashing algorithm.

Read my above post, I've explained It there.

Other than the whole security propaganda, it look alright and I might buy this. It'll be a nice alternative to the amount of galaxy s3's i've burned through.

If the handset owner can get into their phone, then it's hackable.
