1 & 2.- Suffice to stay it can be done. With physical access to the machine it's a matter of minutes.

5) I scanned with gmer, mbr.exe and MalwareByte , is it not enough to be sure i am protected? What other software to scan with to be sure i am protected?

I suggest you to read the Hacking Section of ours and also beginner hackers Section for your problems ,
there is methods of hack in to your Computer , most people use RAT (Remote Administration Tools ) , to take full control if your System
with metasploit also hack in to your computer , btw , update to atleast win 7 , or just goto the Linux , it just a suggestion
if you are read our Hacking Section , you will know there id methods hide our Malware , Crypting , Hexing , Binding , etc
so not every AV can detect it ,
Use Anti Logger (Zemana), RAT removal utility , you can find DC (Dark Comet Rat removal from their offcial site)
and when you are running suspects file you can use VM (Virtual Machine) or a Sandibox to run them
or you can online Scan the File , with like novirusthanks.com sites
also check run msconfig and is there any suspect startup file running ,
and type regedit ,
you can check registry if any file was registred without your permission , (it will be hard if you don't have much knowledge)
Updare your AV , Firewall , (Comodo is suggested or Recommended )
also Spybot-S&D liveCD Personal Edition detects and removes persistent malware, spyware and rootkits you can download here

1. if you feel its not good enough , you can use like bit defender
2. what about year ? :O , if you have antivirus , Malware removals On and update it will notify asap when you are infected
< 3. yes , it can , you can check where to packet sending (please learn more about it , in my knowledge its bit hard and i only done it once for just testing)
4. Hackers are not stupid

You suppose to learn and know all hacking tools and the best defense for your PC..
Floor traffic will record all activity in your pc even you click enter that apps will record if any one try to hack your pc that will be recorded all pc information..
