I told them that the post office had what was in the parcel (as they do) and refused to ship broken glass. They then refunded straight away.Given that was Indeed the case, I'd try this approach. I replied to their email saying what do I do if the post office won’t take it because it’s broken glass and they responded with “As long as it is packed and properly wrapped, there should be no problem. We always receive faulty / damaged items back to our warehouse without inconveniences.” RE: Another broken glass refund - mothered - 03-08-2023 (03-08-2023, 12:20 PM)Kevin12861 Wrote:Just because they've received faulty/damaged goods, It doesn't mean It also applies to your post office.(03-08-2023, 02:01 AM)mothered Wrote:(03-07-2023, 10:11 PM)BitPlayer Wrote: I had a merchant ask me to do the same. Tell them they refused to accept your package. They are very adamant on saying I can post it . either way I’ve managed to break the bottle the same way ad transferred the liquid looks pretty similar to the picture sent just gunna send it back now RE: Another broken glass refund - BitPlayer - 03-08-2023 You should’ve told them that the Post Office had already refused - rather than asking the hypothetical ‘what if’ question. That way it would’ve been harder for them to argue. But at least you’ve got a solution 👍 RE: Another broken glass refund - mothered - 03-09-2023 (03-08-2023, 06:09 PM)Kevin12861 Wrote: I’ve managed to break the bottle the same way ad transferred the liquid looks pretty similar to the picture sent just gunna send it back nowSounds good. Would the broken bottle method works if the parfume packaging is a hard cardboard really well protected? The amount of abuse that package goes through in the shipping process is crazy. Plus shipping it in hard cardboard is not a gaurantee against breakage. RE: Another broken glass refund - smoogogo - 04-20-2023 Yeah u can just say the the post office refuse the package since it's dangerous, you can also said that u already throw it away bc you have little child that could play or eat it |
