Just ordered a Jean Paul perfume to get a refund for
I emailed them pictures of a broken bottle I bought from eBay
They also asked for a picture of the package but I said it’s all in the bin.

Now they want the order posted back so I can get my money returned, obviously I can transfer the liquid into another container and break the bottle the same way I did the other

Or do you guys think continuing to say the bottle is also in the bin will work also as I’d now have to quick order one from Amazon

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this but did you not say you have a bottle you bought of ebay to use? Can you not just send back the broken bottle you bought off eBay and spray a bit of perfume in the box?

Well in that case I suppose you could do as you say and decant the perfume into another container. You could also contest them and ask if they really want you pick through broken glass to send back to them since there's a risk of injury.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking because if I end up breaking it differently (I just knocked the atomiser off) then I’m gunna have to fully smash the whole bottle and just say I dropped it whilst packaging it for return

Just a bit annoying them asking for it back would’ve liked to start a little collection but what has to be done has to be done no big deal always a solution

If I were you id send it back as a last resort only after being adamant that doing so is not possible. Where did you buy it ?

I had a merchant ask me to do the same. I told them that the post office had what was in the parcel (as they do) and refused to ship broken glass. They then refunded straight away.

Im sure you can work it out. If it interests you, I just did a DNAon paco rabanne and it was very easy. It was shipped with UPS with no pic or signature. my total was £180 but people tell me up to £250 is fine.

Might be worth trying what @BitPlayer said about the post office as a second to last resort.
