Yes It's fine.

Be sure your relative obviously fake signs It, but with a name that's somewhat legible. As such, when It's cross-checked, It will not be associated to any household member, hence an unauthorized recipient signed the delivery.

Hello, the package came in today, and the package was meant to be signature as per the tracking, but the driver just handed it over. This would be easier than if there was a signature?

Absolutely, who knows who got that package!

A signature Is still pretty easy, but In this case, they don't have anything (to use) to justify receipt of goods - only the driver's word, which holds no value.

They replied back and they said that they have proof of delivery which was my "signature" even though it was signed by driver. Am I good to say that the signature was not mine and is there anything else I should say?

Tell them to email you a copy of the signature, and be sure to say that you'll open an Investigation and get back to them In 1-2 days. Let's see how they like It when the roles are reversed.

You can then send them a copy of your signature, which will clearly demonstrate a mismatch between the two.

Been told that the courier has admitted that the package has been delivered in error to the wrong address and that they will attempt to retrieve and redeliver, they will get back in 48 hours.
