Unfortunately this particular PD's online report system is down and would require me to go in and file it in person. Any recommendations on getting around the PR for the refund ?

Go file it in person? That's how I do my PR, not a problem, cops are there to help (just don't do it too often)

Yea indefinitely. I've tried looking and looking but nothing, I would HAVE to either have a sheriff come out or go into the station but since its not my own information id be doing the report for then it basically fails. Last resort I am doing is having my friend file a dispute against the company saying that we attempted a report but system is down indefinitely.

Get your story straight and be 100% commented . Amazon is just trying you, because when thet say "pd report"that usually ends the DNA case. Wouldnt even worry about a investgation becasue Amazon knows theres actually nothing to investagate. They may call and verify the report. Just keep it short and simple and remember You are playing the part of the victim so play it to the fullest . Main things is to be prepared and play the part Amazon deals with this everyday and the PR is usually end of the road for the DNA. So you either all in or fold.

Given you're not using your real credentials, the PR cannot be filed.

They won't buy It.

They'll tell you to file one online, or attend another police station.

I'm sorry to bump this, but can you clarify on amazon affiliate zappos? Do you mean you signed into zappos with amazon?
I am asking because I stupidly used my amazon account to sign in and purchase some stuff from zappos, but am worried a DNA isn't going to work since my amazon account was flagged recently

I have done Zappos a few times now and every time I always create a new account. I never login using my actual good amazon account.

Did you get the refund in the end?

I was going to recommend simply waiting for your local police station to reactivate their online report system. Surely it wouldn't have been down for too long.
