Turns out the previous agent hadn’t even filed the investigation with the courier… Made sure they knew how angry I was and said this wasn’t a good start into the investigation, new agent was much better and followed up with an email so hopefully hear something before this week finishes!

^ Very poor claims management.

It's good you let them know about It, by venting your frustration.

Awful isn’t it, sometimes feel like the mismanagement of claims can go in your favour. Here’s hoping that it does.

It’s strange as although it wasn’t filed with the courier company, the same driver came back the next day and placed over the fence which was unusual as he never does that. At first I thought he had been given a telling off, that’s what prompted me to go speak to Zalando to learn they hadn’t even filed it. Obviously just a coincidence what benefited me lol

You picked It up quickly and Intelligently, otherwise your claim would currently be at a standstill.

Update again-

Email come through today from them letting me know they’ve been in touch with the courier and they confirmed it was placed in an area and tracking info shows that but I’m saying I didn’t receive package.
Asked me to fill in a legal statement confirming I didn’t receive, I’m going to go ahead with this. Feeling pretty confident so far as I think the parcel not being handed to me was massively in my favour.

Tracking Is a useless form of verification, for the fact that It cannot confirm person-to-person delivery.

There's no evidence to decline your claim at this stage, hence their request to sign the document.
We shall await updates.

Not yet, I signed the form haven’t heard back yet although I’ve chased up a couple times and told that it was taken to a senior level as the price was higher than the usual refund they would do and has been assigned to their “internal dedicated team” Was around £400~ So nothing too crazy.

Will chase up again through the week and update the post Smile Can’t see a reason why they would deny it at this point but we will see.

RE: Zalando UK - D1919 - 07-16-2022

Still waiting for an update on this, customer service is awful and every single rep just says the same “waiting for reply from our internal dedicated team” before we can issue a refund, this is on the phone and live chat.

Everytime I ask for a complaints email they tell me to use the usual customer service one I am already in contact with and they all reply the exact same thing every time.

Does anyone have any tips on how to proceed with this? Thanks
