The bot just asked me to return the wrong item. Is that standard procedure? Also the wrong item is 100g lighter than the laptop (3.4kg). Should I be worried? Really.. sounds promising. I’ll be attempting this in the next week. Should I be worried?Given the total weight of the laptop Is significant, the 100 gram variance Is minimal, so there's no cause for concern. RE: Macbook Pro 14 Inch Weight - Nabeshin - 05-21-2022 Make sure keep a transcription of the chat where it says you're allowed to return the wrong item, just in case Amazon does a 180 on you , destroys the wrong item and asks for the correct one over and over RE: Macbook Pro 14 Inch Weight - ABC157PLM - 05-22-2022 (05-21-2022, 03:23 PM)Nabeshin Wrote: Make sure keep a transcription of the chat where it says you're allowed to return the wrong item, just in case Amazon does a 180 on you , destroys the wrong item and asks for the correct one over and over Honestly. Why do amazon love suddenly doing that. It's like they have no communication with other departments RE: Macbook Pro 14 Inch Weight - mothered - 05-23-2022 (05-22-2022, 09:15 PM)ABC157PLM Wrote:It also applies to other companies.(05-21-2022, 03:23 PM)Nabeshin Wrote: Make sure keep a transcription of the chat where it says you're allowed to return the wrong item, just in case Amazon does a 180 on you , destroys the wrong item and asks for the correct one over and over They tell you one thing, and then deny the conversation ever existed - either done purposely, or due to mismanaging the claim. Unfortunately, things are not going how they should. Finally, after almost a month I received an answer from their Account Specialist department stating that they can confirm the Macbook was indeed in the box when it was given to the carrier and that they've decided to destroy the wrong item. They told me I can appeal the decision if I want. I went ahead and replied saying that I've only ever received the wrong item and I sent a photo of the box with the wrong item inside. Is there any chance they will change their decision or does it mean that they have substantial proof to disregard my appeal? Thanks RE: Macbook Pro 14 Inch Weight - azizouma - 06-22-2022 (06-22-2022, 03:04 PM)josh12369 Wrote: Hello everyone. You should ask them to provide you the proof that it was indeed in the box when given to the carrier and stick to your version |
