What shall I do?
Check whether the carrier Is responsible for loss of goods.

If so, ask them to Investigate It and be sure to get a reference number, then forward It to Apple.

This is what DPD states

How annoying! We are going to help you with this. If you have received the parcel damaged or not at all, it is best to contact the sender * as soon as possible.

The parcel is insured through them for loss or damage. They solve this with you, and we in turn with them!

But it says to contact the sender (apple) and they’ll work with them? Would it work if I work with DPD?

As said, contact Apple and forward DPD's message to them

DPD has advised to contact the sender, so comply with their request.

DPD said that investigation has been raised with Apple and they are primary account holders so I need to stay in touch with Apple.

I have contacted apple regarding this. They said escalating anything will lead to the same result. They said to contact local authorities in which I replied ‘they have said this will not resolve to my refund but they will open a case’. They said if they open a case then we will assist them in any way they can.

Contact DPD and tell them that Apple Is refusing to comply with their (DPD's) Instructions.

Also, forward Apple's response to DPD.

Again, they are sending me to Apple. Seems like DPD won’t comply at all

That's ridiculous, they've got you running around In circles.

It's now come to the point of this. As per DPD's message below, forward It to Apple and ask them to explain why they're not willing to accept responsibility, when DPD clearly states that they should.
